Tom Russell, 27, started out with New Orleans' Superfly Productions (the company behind Bonnaroo) in 2004 while still working toward his degree in marketing and management at Tulane University. There he worked alongside renowned creative visionary Jimmy Iovine. Sean O'Connell has devoted a lifetime to promoting creative people.
In the 1990's, Sean headed up marketing for Ani DiFranco and helped Ani sell millions of albums. Sean launched Music Allies in 2002 to help bring that same business model to labels operated by bands (example: Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records, Justin Timberlake’s, Tennman Records, Aimee Mann and Joan Osborne). Sean was one of the first in the music industry to recognize a monumental shift in the US concert business.
