What is XLIVE eSports?

Over the past decade eSports have grown from a niche segment of the gaming industry into a global force that could have as many viewers as the NFL by the end of 2017. XLIVE eSports is a unique senior-level forum that will explore the factors behind the emergence of eSports, while introducing attendees to the industry leaders that are working behind the scenes to bring eSports from the screen to the stadium in venues around the world.

This year the Downtown Grand Hotel became a pioneer as the inaugural casino operator in Las Vegas to open up a physical eSports lounge on their property, while also applying to become the first casino in America to offer betting on a live eSports tournament. This session will explain the objectives behind the Downtown Grand’s commitment to serving as a center for eSports in Las Vegas and provide guidance for event organizers/venue operators that are interested in pursuing the eSports opportunity for their own businesses.
