Carroll joined MusiCares in August of 1998 with nine years prior experience in the human services field. She began her career working for a long term adolescent residential treatment facility in Colorado. Since that time, she has worked in various capacities in the health care industry, ranging from hospital settings to private practice. Carroll was instrumental in developing substance abuse treatment programs in Massachusetts, Colorado and Georgia. In her current role at MusiCares, she is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the MusiCares programs and services nationally. Her education includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Carroll currently serves on the Leadership Music, ACM Lifting Lives and Possibilities, Inc., Board of Directors and Cumberland Heights and Music Health Alliance Advisory Boards. Her past board involvement includes; The American Heart Association, Alcohol and Drug Council of Middle Tennessee and SOURCE.
