Nate Eckman is co-founder and Chief Brand Officer of Ultimate Media Ventures, the VC-backed eSports innovation company based in LA with headquarters in Dallas. UMV produced and directed front of house for the record-breaking MLG Major in Columbus. Nate is also lead designer for the eSports lifestyle apparel brand ULT, which unveiled a premium collection of apparel designs at E3. Having spent the last decade as a consultant and creative strategist for major gaming publishers like Riot and Xbox, Nate has a community-first philosophy to brand marketing. He has written eSports content strategy for MCNs. His work with non-endemics as lifestyle AOR for PepsiCo properties extended into multiple national campaigns for Brisk Iced Tea as it grew to be a billion dollar brand. Nate has been interviewed by Fortune Magazine and the LA Times as well as spoken at USC about the VC-backed eSports initiatives of Ultimate Media Ventures. One of UMV’s current initiatives is their eSports residency at the SLS Las Vegas.
