Meryl Johnson, Director – Digital Strategy, Country Music Association
Meryl develops strategic plans and manages CMA Digital presence across websites, mobile, apps, digital partnerships, video distribution, consumer and industry database development, and digital advertising initiatives to drive awareness, viewership and engagement of CMA TV properties and live events. She creates digital programs that meet and exceed the objectives set forth in CMA’s brand strategy, while providing strategic digital insights and support to cross-functional teams including Marketing and Social Media, Strategic Partnerships, Communications, Events and Research. Meryl is also responsible for collaborating with the IT team on development and/or procurement of new technologies, software solutions, and third party vendors needed for digital initiatives and the marketing team at large, as well as identifying, monitoring, tracking, measuring and reporting the results of digital initiatives.
